Ubuntu is a Linux based operating system it’s new O.S and it is available for free download. But downloading 700mb may take longer time or may not be possible due to slow connection so they are giving the free ubuntu CD to all for free of cost!!.
Is there any hidden charges ?
When i was registering for free CD i won’t belive about it and i think there may be some hidden charges ( transportation cost and some other) Anyway i darely registered for ubuntu Linux based O.S CD and i got it within 30 days of registration date and it is absolutely free of cost!! Even there is no Transportation cost too. Yes,it’s true it is 100% free of cost.
Select which edition you want( Desktop edition or Server Edition) [Hint: Choose Desktop edition for 32 bit computer]
After selecting they will redirect to another page in that enter your email and select the option “No i want to create account now” and click continue
They will send a link to your mail box what you have registered in the above step. Check your mail box and click on that link
After clicking that you will taken to Complete Registration see below image
In the next step they will ask some question about their product (to build better in future) answer and click “continue to complete CD Request” in the below of the page
In this step fill you original address(where you need to receive CD) they will send the O.S cd to your home for free of cost(it may take 1month time)
Remember your username and password that you have registered because whenever your going to install it will ask your username and password it is better to choose easy username and password it helps in sharing of that cd with your friends too.
